Yes, Mikal is a bad ass...

If you doubt anything Jammers said in his post (I mean, who believes that kid anyway?), here are some pics to prove it. It was an awesome weekend in Maine! Thanks Mikal for showing Jammers, the wind turbine loving enginerd, and me, the city girl who CAN go without her crackberry for an entire weekend, how Mainers really do what they do. I must admit, I have never loved a shower more than the way I did when I got home Sunday night, but had a blast despite my stankiness. Or was that Jammers? I can never tell. For the rest of you - if you ever want to wander way up northeast for a weekend, Mikal may be there a little longer, so get your act together and let's go!

PS: don't listen to Jammers about my GPS..."TomTom". He's British and he's fabulous. And he only got us lost in the ghetto of Maine once.

Mikal is a bad ass.

So T and I went up to coastal Maine last weekend to visit Mikal in her new surroundings as a wannabe "Mainer." It was pretty sweet. We had the chance to go hiking, hang out on the coast, drink a lot, build fires, roast marshmallows, make fun of T's automated GPS navigation system, experience Maine beer, eat fresh lobster, etc etc. The farm animals were pretty sweet too. Mikal seriously lives in a shack. I can't make this shit up.

I don't have any photos to share right now, but those will be coming soon (courtesey of Mikal Eversole and T-Satchel)...

What I can share with all of you is this random newspaper article that I found online whilst Googling Mikal's middle name to determine if it has a 'e' in it or not.

Check it out: here

The Last Felix Report

For all you SACers, and anyone who knew Felix, here's his last "Felix Report" for SAC before he moves on to his new role as Asst. Director at the MultiCultural Center. Funny stuff!
